The Crooked River Canyon Scenic Bikeway is a scenic, enjoyable and interesting route which takes you through narrow, twisting canyon of Crooked river to the manmade Prineville reservoir – round trip around 40 miles. The road follows the river with each turns it opens amazing views of local geology, small valleys, people fly-fishing, multiple campgrounds, and occasional cyclists. It was a good day to push the pedals- not to hot, not to cold, tail- wind on our way there, on the way back wind intensified and relentlessly was trying to blow me of the road.
