Crypt Lake Trail.
Awe- inspiring and tough 11miles round trip as we were told is “one of the most stunning hikes in Canadian Rockies”. We started by taking a boat across Waterton Lake in the company of a large group of happy- loud high schoolers , fully geared up hikers, middle aged looking lost people, etc. Fun started when somebody accidentally released some bear pepper spray- after everybody catched their breath and stopped coughing we were ready to conquer the trail. Adventure involved climbing 2300feet, admiring beautiful waterfalls, crawling through a tunnel, and scrambling across a sheer rock face holding very prickly steel cable. The reward afterward was lunch by the turquoise waters and snowy shores of Crypt lake .

Red stone trail.
Rain is over! Today we took a ride to Red Rock Parkway, walked along Red Rock Canyon, where water has cut through the earth, exposing red sedimentary rock. Saw real “teenager” bear, played with the fake one, and had a nice hike to the Crandell Lake. It’s a very pretty area with a lash, green vegetation, wild flowers, and spooky dead forest.
Узнаю некоторые места, приятно вспомнить.
