Finally we have a gorgeous weather and time on our hands to see the Beautiful British Columbia, Whistler area. Alexander Falls are just short drive from Whistler and located near 2010 Olympic Nordic Village. The waterfall usually drops an impressive 43 meters (141 feet) over three sections and is about 12 meters (40 feet) wide at its widest point, though in the winter snow and ice makes it a little bit smaller. The source of the water comes from Madelay Creek which is fed by several rivers and creeks in the Callaghan Valley region. The water fall could be observed from platform, but we found a path down to the base of the falls. Sun, snow, and absolutely stunning vistas made walk very pleasant.
