We are exploring area of the Upper Rogue Region where are endless miles of towering pines, mountain meadows, lakes, waterfalls, and scenic views that takes your breath away. First stop was Lost Creek Lake which is the largest lake in the area famous for fishing, water sports, stunning views and much, much more. It was very blue, calm and peaceful. Dixie had a blast ( I guess she was a fish in her past life). Short distance drive and one could be in totally different environment- dark forest with a huge trees, neon green moss on the boulders, water mist in the air( fairytale mystic place). Barr Creek Falls and Mill Creek Falls drop impressively from 240 ft and 175 ft down to the canyon floor- making everything greener and more mysterious.
