1Two distinct desert ecosystems, the Mojave and the Colorado, come together in this park. A fascinating variety of plants and animals make their homes in a land sculpted by strong winds and occasional torrents of rain. It is very large park-sprawling over 792,510 acres- a lot of driving which actually give you a chance to see changes in landscapes, plants, and colors of transition zone of this two deserts.
