We took a tour on functioning family owned gold mine. Our guide was a grandson of the initial enterprisers. Same family ran a tour business to the mine as well. I asked him what actually makes money, gold mining or tourism, and he said that they mine both – tourists and gold, and parts are competitive. Galina was taking her chances, and I sticked to pictures.
